Engineering and Utilities

The City of Aiken Engineering and Utilities Department is organized to carry out planning, engineering and operational activities throughout the city including garbage, recycling, and yard debris removal services to over 12,000 residents weekly. Our responsibilities include Mapping, Streets and Parks, Water Plant, Water and Sewer Distribution, Waste Water, Stormwater, tree maintenance, flowers, mowing, irrigation, and rights of way management.
